In big time New York City in wanders a sweet, innicent girl from some faraway hometown who has come to make it BIG on Broadway.  She meets a hometown sailor who is also looking to make a BIG Broadway splash as a songwriter.

 

The girl gets cast in the chorus, but when the show's big star is injured, gets her chance of a lifetime taking over the starring role.  

 

In Hollywood fashion the sailor boyfriend saves the show with a new smash tune and a new star is born as the ingenue sings his tune from the deck of a battleship that just happens to be passing by.  This winner, gem of a musical will have you TAPPING YOUR TOES and feeling so good!!
