Dames At Sea We will be performing Dames At Sea again Saturday October 23rd at 8:00pm and Sunday October 24th at 2:00pm at the Historic Lorraine Theater in Hoopeston. Please come and enjoy the performance with us!
In big time New York City in wanders a sweet, innicent girl from some faraway hometown who has come to make it BIG on Broadway. She meets a hometown sailor who is also looking to make a BIG Broadway splash as a songwriter. The girl gets cast in the chorus, but when the show's big star is injured, gets her chance of a lifetime taking over the starring role. In Hollywood fashion the sailor boyfriend saves the show with a new smash tune and a new star is born as the ingenue sings his tune from the deck of a battleship that just happens to be passing by. ART will be dressed in attire, time period related, to the film, Gone With the Wind, for the Historic Lorraine Theater's Annaversary, which will be held the first weekend in October.
